Problem with Green Igor

I was wondering who knew some contact info they could get me regarding getting a hold of Green Igor. I will show you the timeline of the events on this purchase. The item is a pair of used T-800 bolle tactical goggles.

08-10-2005 Contacted Green Igor about getting the Bolle Goggles

08-12-2005 Got a PM back from her stating that she had recieved my money and will send the next monday.

08-26-2005 Sent her a PM asking what happened with the shipping

09-02-2005 She replied saying that she forgot and will send this weekend

09-21-2005 Sent a PM again about the when she sent the goggles

09-25-2005 She responded saying that she would check with her husband who sent the item and get back to me tomorrow.

09-30-2005 Sent her another PM ask again the status

10-06-2005 Sent her a PM asking her to respond ASAP about when she shipped the goggles

10-12-2005 She has responded to my PM and She is outof town will get back to me on this matter, next week

I believe I have been very patient with her regarding this issue. She hasn't given me a reason besides she forgot. She has no negative feedback. Just the one issue earlier this year with family issues. Pls if anybody should be able to contact Green_Igor or get me the contact info I would grateful.

I'm in the same boat as you. I bought some torque up gears and a hop up sleeve from her late in september, paid express postage for them too. Received an email from her 2 weeks ago saying that she would ship them on sunday and that I would receive them thursday.
I still have not received anything from her and I have not been able to get any response from her via PM.
I'm wondering when I'll be getting these items so that i can finally fix my M4

Same here. Deal pending since July. Various PM exchanged, with reasons, delays and family issues, roughly along the same line as Thunderer posted above. Last PM from her (last week) was to apologize and say she would make good of all this. I think she really have troubles keeping up with these deals for personnal reasons. But as much as I can be patient, one does have to deliver once a deal is made.

As always, delays aren't so bad, it is the lack of feedback that lead to sour & jumpy buyers.

same deal with me too. Last month I paid her for a 8.4v 600mah battery, and she said she as going to ship it out on wednesday the 28th of september, it is now oct 18 and still nothing to this day.

I paid for 4x M16 lo-cap mags in 06-13-2005 but didn’t get the mags until two months later, something about family emergency, with an extra star lo-cap for the trouble.

So everything worked out in the end, better communication would have been nice, but you should be ready to ship out the product (who'm ever you are) the moment you are ready to cash the money (EMT)

Well, she said shes out of town. If anyone can find out of her husband is still in town I could go there pick everything up and ship it for you all. or wait that extra week till she gets home... then shes gonna unpack...so ehh, maybe 2 more weeks till you guys get it:P

No reason someone should be out of town for an extended period without either clearing up sales or at the very least contacting those involved.

I just find it strangely odd how a person can accept your money so fast and do the same with respect to shipping...
I need those gears desperatly... and seeing how i paid for express shipping... well thats kind of pointless if the thing never gets shipped on time to begin with...
The fact is that she said she would ship it on sunday, but never actually got around to doing so. regardless of the situation, making promises and not keeping them is extremely frustrated and suspicious especially when pms are not replied to.

I think they missed your point.

If you get the shaft on a deal, make sure you do your part and post the appropriate trader feed back in order to help others.

Regardless if it was intentional or not... it's either carelessness or misdirected priorities. Personally I'd prefer the person who I've already paid, to keep my business at the top of their priority list.

Well, we don't know exactly whats going on. For all we know someone could have passed away, and then I'm sure airsoft wouldn't be all that important. Now imagen her comming home and then seeing what 3? neg feedback. Come on she made a little mistake but lets not blade her back. Yes both FF and I see this differently, but it is airsoft and you dont need gears or else you'll die.

Personaly, I think that people need to look at it for what it is. A business transaction. This has nothing to do with airsoft. Regardless of what's going on in your life, you should make a speedy conclusion to the purchase on both ends of the deal. If you'r having problems in your life, then don't accept any purchase orders untill your back on your feet. As a new business owner, I can't just take money from people and order their products whenever I feel like it or have time. I have to make time. Private sales should be no different except for perhaps a day longer to complete transactions. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes here and I'm sure people have things and problems going on in their personal lives but getting products shipped once payment is received should be at or near the top of lists of things to do. If you can't get to the post office for the next few days, make arrangements to have a responsable friend do it for you. I've asked family members to pick up parts for me when I was unable to get to my supplier. It's business people, it needs to get done one way or the other..
