Well I've had The MC51 for a while now but i'm not too sure about what external upgrades it'll take. Should it be able to use normal G3 receivers and stocks or not, also does it use G3 magazines or does it have it's own special type magazine that i have to use. I'm fine with the internals just the externals i'm not sure about.
Thanks
Matt

G3 receiver plus an mp5 front end I believe, and they definitely take g3 magazines.

Having owned a TM MC51 for a few years, I can tell you the front end is slightly different from an MP5. Best to pick up MC51-specific RAS if you don;t want a hassle fitting things.

What skruface says is true. However Marui Advertises their RAS to be MP5/MC51 Compatable, dispite from first hand experience, knowing that MP5 Handguards are too short for MC51. and the MC51 is too large for the MP5. Also MP5 Flashhiders dont fit in MC51's. I also noticed the TM MP5 Claw Mount did not fit on the MC51 Either. Dispite their advertisement that it is for the MC51.

I've fully kitted my MC51 (aside from a metal body). It takes G3 metal bodies (not CA53), G3 stocks, G3 magazines, CA MC51 Cocking Tube, It will take MP5 foregrips, but there are a bit of fitment issues on certain types. I have a G&P MC51 RAS grip on the front right now though, but I am able to fit a MP5 Flashlight foregrip onto the front as well with a bit of adjustment. And yeah, was really depressed how the claw mount didn't fit on my MC51 properly. But now I have a low pro mount on it, so meh.
