Question SRC G36K Handle/Scope Swap

Hey, I was just wondering if by any chance someone knows if I can replace the SRC G36K Handle/Scope with the non-export type Handle/Sight (the one with magnification AND with the red dot on top), I've found these two (look at links below), but I have no clue if they would fit or not..

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/star-g36-...d-red-dot.html
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ares-g36-...d-red-dot.html

I would appreciate any help or website forwarding,
Thanks

Hi - I had the same idea...I was looking at this product

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ea-g36-ty...t-w-laser.html

And you mount it on this rail
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/star-g36c...ount-base.html

Or you can use the product you mention.

But in both case...we are out of luck as all those product are out of stock.

I have bought this product and I have found it quite interesting.

Let me know how it turns out

I dont see why not ive had the classic army one and used G&P sights and had a tm which also accepted G&P as well as the CA sights. My G36 has some star externals and they all fit fine. The sights will all fit as i believe people even put real steel ones without modifications.

It'll fit you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, I am considering this one as well, but I would mount it over the normal G36K Scope, as I want the non-export look.

Ok, so you all seem to think the fittings for any G36 Handle/Sight should fit on the SRC's top as well, I am just not sure about buying a $150+ part just to find out it wouldn't fit..

I was under the impression SRC wasn't compatible with parts from other manufacturers.. Usually brands like Classic Army, Tokyo Marui, etc.. seem to have interchangeable parts, but read SRC wasn't TM compatible.

...because I'd also be looking into getting the AG36 Grenade launcher:

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ares-ag36...36-series.html
or
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/star-launcher-ag36.html

* I've previously read something about Star and Ares being the same company in the past.. and that they borke up or something. Any word on quality? because I notice that Star seems to be much more expensive than Ares. Did they break up and form a higher/lower end products manufacturers?

Yup, shouldn't be an issue. I've had 3 different rails on my G36

For Star and Ares to my knowledge Ares was Star's supplier and they just rebranded their product (along the lines of ECHO1 and JG I think) also I would advise against an AG36 first off because of the weight and also because its not that great from what I have heard also i believe you cant *legally* import a grenade launcher so expect to pay at least 300ish. Also the Germans are switching from the original Hendersoldt double sight to the G36A2. Now they are using the normal 3.5x sight with a rail on the top to mount a Zeiss RSA reflex sight, I believe there is a clone of the optic however i dont recall where I saw it. But pictures of the G36A2:

mmm.. I dunno, I really rather the look of the original Scope/Red dot... Maybe I'll just forfeit the whole magnified scope, get the rail and put an eotech.. like this >
