Gun won't shoot?
Hey guys, just wondering why my brand new VFC M16A4 won't even shoot...I charged the battery, took the safety off, put the mag in (yes, cranked it too), and pulled the trigger...motor is blown possibly? I won't be too happy if that's the case...I haven't even got to use it and I waited a week for it...:banghead:

Find the fuse, and check if the little metal wire inside is broken or black, if it is then replace it, if it is a white fuse that is hard to see into just replace and see if that works.

Might want to re-size your sig before an admin does it 'for you'.

odds are that its the fuse or you fried the battery <--- (much less likely). other than that you are looking at returning it if its still not working since this is a new AEG.

Take a multimeter to your battery. See if it's outputting anything.

Alright guys, kinda disappointed as I've been waiting forever for this thing to get here...It's a shame, but I'll pack it up and send it back and hopefully either get a new one or get my money back...:banghead:

Is the fuse blown? Open the grip plate to see if the motor is connected or not.... If you want I live in Gatineau, I could have a look at it.... :P
PM me if you're interested.... |

Why are you sending it back? Did you even bother to check the fuse or the battery? A fuse is a $0.50 replacement part... much cheaper than shipping.

it's not uncommon for one of the connectors to dislodge from the motor. So before you "buy" anything unscrew the motor plate off at the bottom of your pistol grip and check if the motor leads are in fact connected and properly.

^this is very true. I was freaking out when my m4 stopped working because I had just used it in a rainy game, but it turns out one of the motor connections popped off. Fixed in literally 30 seconds.
Put your ear next to the mechbox and pull the trigger, if there's a little clicking sound then it wouldn't be your fuse.
