MP5 upgrades

Which mp5 do you have? Mines gone from a standard cheap UTG A5 to custom metal frankenMP5 with completely new internals as well as new upper/lower and front end. Basically is a CA/TM/custom bastard child.

I have a pretty modest Top Tech Blow Back model. My first as well

So far I have upgraded the battery (went with the nunchuk style so it fits better in the handgrip), added a scope mount and Leapers 1x40 Red/Green Dot (http://bestairsoftguns.wordpress.com/2008/03/30/ ...not bad if you don't want to blow your brains out on optics) and a G&G vertical foregrip.

Happy with all of it. Still a few other minor upgrades planned but more likely it will be replaced in the near future.

Good luck!

look for something low profile, There is a red dot sight out there for the mp5 but a T-1 would do the job.

If you decide to go for an EOTECH for optic, make sure your scope mount has atleast 4.5 inches of uninterrupted rails so it can mount properly.

G&G mp5 a4

so far just got eotech replica for sights, i like it a lot, but then again i havent used anything else as this is my 1st gun as well

eventually gonna get rails for front end, and then probably vertical grip and a flashlight with pressure switch

cant think of anything else usefull to put on that you would actually need/use

other than that plenty of things you can do to it internally

ive put in a metal cylinder head and a new modify piston head (as G&G is well known to have poorly sealing piston heads) if you do any upgrades the piston head should probably be the first thing you replace
shimmed and cleaned/regreased the mechbox
soldered on deans connectors

and for future gonna get a tight bore barrell longer than my stock one, cover it with a silencer on the gun, and replace more in the mechbox with some better prometheus parts

you already started a thread about this. Use your brain. Google is your friend. Way to bump a thread with a useless question.
