perhaps mentioning what kind of gun/brand you have would help

Quite common in AKs if I'm reading between the lines.

As Pusangani pointed out, that's quite like emailing tech support because "When I click, the computer doesn't do what I want"

I had a lady call me to let me know that her fucking printer killed her dog once. I'd take 100 failure to plug unit in calls rather then take that one.

Sheesh.

Also I agree, sounds like an AK issue

In the middle of the selector switch there is a small flat disk. Using your fingers gently tighten it finger tight until the "clickityclak" is returned to your selector.

Cheers

AKs go Safe Auto Semi... so... probably an M4/G36/Mp5 variant.

You're right, facepalmed when I re-read myself, I'll blame the lack of sleep.

Especially embarassing considering I just unboxed a Cyma 036

Heh. yes it does. There's a spring loaded (for lack of better word) bearing under the selector that has probably fallen out.

Or the small holes where the lever clicks are filled with either paint, or dust or anything.

If its loose, remove the mechbox and tighten the screw on the reverse side of the selector lever.
