Engraver wanted
I'm working on a custom AK build, and I am looking to get some engraving done. Specifically, selector markings and serial numbers on the receiver, bolt and dust cover.
The materials are all steel, some of it is very hard as there are real parts involved. Any interested parties please pm me, or if anyone knows a shop that can handle this I'd appreciate the info. |

Contact djbordie. He does custom engraving on airsoft guns.

I can do it, but pricing isn't real happy...figure about $100USD plus ship...and that darn BORDER makes it a bit dodgy.

You should just check out a local flee market. I know a few places in the GTA that does it, including p-mall. |

I'm gonna put my 2 cents in and tell my story. Last year I had an MP5K that I tricked out to the nines. CA polymer parts, Nitro rail; it looked badass, and was a pretty sweet gun, too. All except the metal body... which I bought the moment one came on sale . The CA metal bodies are nice and all, but they lack *PERFECT RS ENGRAVING* so I figured I'd contact DJBordie (who looked like he was still running his 'graving business) to satiate my OCD-must-be-as-real-as-possible needs. I had everything planned out, got all the info I needed, got hi-res pics of everything I needed and even MSpainted what I wanted and where, just to make sure. We correspond for a few weeks, and then he drops off the map, thankfully before I send in the damn thing. Long story short, never heard from him apart from some mumbles about work getting vaguely in the way. I'm not trying to bash the guy, and his pics show that he DID good work, but I'm pretty sure he's out of the game now. Which is a damn shame, too, because the new WE's have blank bodies, which means I could finally get that "Safe, Semi, Apocalypse" lower.

Not to hijack the thread but does anyone know of someone who can do engraving work like the right marking for a Glock 19 on a blank KJW slide in the Vancouver area? I'd prefer not to need to ship it anywhere to keep cost down but I have never tried to ship a sldie anywhere so maybe I'm overestimating the cost of shipping....
