WE M4 Jam

Yesterday I received my new WE M4, I took one shot and it jammed, and it almost looks like it was jammed before I used it because there seems to be alot of mushed BBs in there, and the Hop-Up rubber or something in there seems to be blocking the barrel so I cant even use an un-jamming rod, and I can't flip the upper receiver do to the bolt being a little bit into the buffer tube as it can not close all the way because of the BBs. I can get some more info later I am on on my Phone right now.

Oh man, this is actually a lot harder to type out than it would be to solve in person.

Rack the bolt, engage the bolt catch to lock the bolt to the rear, remove the magazine.

Inspect through the bottom of the magwell to check for debris.

If there is an obvious jam, take the unjamming rod and put it down from muzzle end, and press to release the jam. (CAREFUL, we have broken 3 + plastic unjamming rods...)

IF YOU HAVE A SERIOUS JAM, you may have to resort to serious measures. A team mate of mine has a real c7 cleaning kit for THIS purpose solely.

Using a REAL c7 cleaning kit, place it down the barrel and allign the rod with the bottom most edge of the brass barrel (furthest away from the hop up) ...then with a rubber mallet, tap until the jam is released.

I've seen this happen in person twice... to the same guy. This was the only solution short of stripping the gun down to the base.

If you NEED to remove the upper...

With the bolt locked to the rear after inspection, rack the charging handle, and follow it slowly home (so as not to compact the jam more).

Push the rear pin, then the front pin, and wiggle slide the upper off of the lower.

Remove the bolt to perform the above c7 cleaning rod maneuver.

Once the jam is clear, inspect the upper receiver for debris to prevent another jam.

Alright thanks, I got the jam out there seems to be literally 10 BBs crushed up in there, and I only fired one of them, Had to use a coat hanger (thinner than the rod). But the hop-up was out of place that seemed to cause the jam so, how fully the hop-up still works, and there's no rips.

Sorry for double post.

The Hop-Up is not working correctly, the shoots with Hop-up off, go high and left, with Hop-up on they go high and right

Alright so the stinger Hop-Up is on its, way, Now inner barrel wise Should I Pick up the RA-Tech Precision inner as well, or just keep the stock chromed barrel.
