Requesting review of canadian/safesoft realsword AEGs

Has anyone actually bought a type 56 or 97 variant that was made to be imported into canada?
supposedly the cylinder head was changed for the canadian market? (O.o)
If anyone has info on how it performs compared to the regular one (assembly quality). You'll have my eternal gratitude...
do not want to blow big bucks on a type 97 and have the proprietary parts be screwed up when I get it.

If it was changed it was the spring to pass fps testing, I would assume.

A guy in Kamloops here has a 56-2 that he's liking but I don't think he posts on here. Maybe one of the other guys from around there will spot this and get him to jump in with some opinion.

RS didn't change the cylinder head, but they did replace the polycarbonate piston head with an aluminum one. The RS piston head is generic AEG spec, not proprietary.

In any case, there has been zero problem observed with RS air seal in guns arriving in Canada.

Built 7+ of the Canadian ones,

only thing is they get a M130 installed when coming in, then a M90 installed when going to the customer.

what I'm more concerned about is the type 97.
I haven't heard much about it at all, which is why I'm more concerned about whether the parts are proprietary at all, and if the mechbox is opened; since it has the quick spring change feature.
