RS G3 stock on CA AEG

I'm wondering if a RS G3 sliding stock/end cap fits on a G3 AEG with CA metal body? I don't think I've ever read about this, so if you've got a anecdote or link to share, that'd be great.

As far as I can tell, the end cap won't fit without me chopping off the buffer guide thing. Sliding stock is the part that really does need replacing, as full stocks are just too bulky IMO - I'm thinking it might fit, depending on the dimensions of the sliding rod-part-things of the RS stock itself and if the CA end cap is similar.

If no one knows, I might just go ahead and dump the $155 into it and see what happens.

Why not just order a CA sliding stock and save 100$?

Guarantee fit and looks just the same. The quality and stability when used with a metal body is on par with the real.

I'm not sure about a sliding stock, but I know the endcap from a real steel G3 woodstock won't fit a CA metal body.

Uh because I broke mine? It's not the same quality/stability as I would expect on the real steel - looks to me like it is just painted pot metal. And yes, it was a $100 CA. Not worth it IMO, since I abuse the shit out of my primaries just to make sure they're working lol.

A little help would be nice, not telling me to get an airsoft one. I know that an airsoft one will fit and work... no shit, Sherlock. How else do you think I managed to install and later break the one that was on my G3 before? I wouldn't be asking if I hadn't broken the "best" airsoft one around, now, would I? C'mon.

Great, that's what I needed to know about the end cap issue.
