How to airsoft guns from HK to Canada

Hi all,

I just immigrate to Canada, I was a big fan of Airsoft gun in HK. I have a VFC HK416 and several pistol such as, WA Infinity and KSC USPC. I just want to know how to ship them to Canada. Where I can find the process and is there any company provide such service?

Thanks

You can't import into Canada. As wildcard said, you'll have to sell your guns in HK and get new ones in Canada. Your gear, parts, mags, etc, are fine to bring over by whatever means you choose.

I really don't want to do this. The VFC HK416 is the limited Premium version, there is no way to buy it now in Canada or anywhere. And also for WA Infinity I believe it already stop production for years. I looked for some store in Canada, I didn't find any on sale.

Your choice, I have to learn the hard way about airsoft NO NO in Canada way back in 85 when I was told that my shell ejecting marushin are too realistic and was confiscated

I have a friend who works in YVR airport security and I asked one of the officers on duty and he told me i just have to declare it and that it cannot be in your hand carry luggage. So it has to be in the check luggage. Maybe its a YVR thing I duno. Peace

Please don't give out advice if you have no idea what you are talking about.

Declare it or not, you still have to pass through customs and as stated many times in this post and other posts, you cannot import them. They will get confiscated. No if's, and's or but's.
And airport security is not an authority on this matter.

YVR "Ramp rats" and CATSA =/= CBSA you still have to pass through CBSA at one point or another.

Also different agents interpret the rules in different ways but the general consensus is that most of the time they will not make it through or the officer if not sure will elevate it to a supervisor. And sitting in an airport (especially a secure holding room) is never fun.

I work here in Calgary YYC and Ill tell you YES it is allowed in CHECKED BAGGAGE and it still has to be declared and cleared by your air carrier AND us.

NO it is not allowed to go threw by CBSA (customs)

We take items like these every month because people are not smart enough to check out everything.

Oh and L473ncy, the ramp rats and us are different Atleast over here we are.

Well to say the least, if you declare it they CANNOT charge you. You won't get it, but you won't be jailed.

Exactly. I worked for the CBSA this summer and had a guy declare two bags of Coca Leaves to my face...nothing happened except for us taking them away. (Decent sized bags, too...) And to another above post, CATSA is most DEFINITELY not CBSA....for instance, the CBSA knows your bottle of water is harmless

I consider anyone who handles baggage a "ramp rat" even if they aren't physically on the apron (that includes the people who stand beside the counters and tell you to turn your bag upside down so the wheels don't slip as it's on the conveyor and the people who deal with "special baggage" like skis/boards, bikes, and rifles).

@ FNG: Haha that's funny about the water bottle thing.
