Hey guys, im looking for the 2 circled disc in the picture below. I checked everywhere from Crappy tire, home depot, brofasco, sayal electronics, active electronics, and electrosonic and NO one has these 2 pieces.. I even emailed G&P themselves but they dont reply. Anyone know where I can get this part? I dont even know the name of it..

Actually, i tried to use these retainer rings already, since i had extra ones from my dust cover, but these dont seem to do the job well even tho i have tried to squeeze both of the open edges together.

Hit up an auto parts supplier.

Those are usually called inside tooth star washers.

They're sometimes called a star washer. An "e-clip" won't work since they need a groove to slot into.

For really small ones like that you're best off rummaging through mechanical toys. Or collect busted hopup units (e.g. TM style M4's) and scavage the parts off of them. Or buy another complete hopup unit.

If you've got the equipment you can make one...just takes two punches and a drill.

McMaster-Carr does have everything.. but they won't ship to Canada unless you are a business. McMaster Canada is really lame.

i found some alternatives at home hardware.. they look like the standard one for hop ups but there are more prongs and much stiffer...i had to hammer it a few times.
