absoutly not!
Open bolt is amazing! I have one and holy hell I have to use it like a DMR, use .25's and you can beam someone from a helluva way's away it'll be amazing when they put that system into full size guns cause the open bolt's are cannons in my experience |

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

as far as I know the open chamber system uses TM VSR/HIcappa style hopup rubbers and barrels, which is reason enough for me to say that it can't be a bad thing :3

I have a WE open bolt PDW
shoots 373fps on .20 (1.29 joules) 330 fps on .28 (1.41 joules) Can't complain with that, the PDW open bolt modded mags mate up fine, apparently the closed bolt mags had issues. And I guarantee it's more reliable since the whole bolt carrier consists of only 2 parts. |

what do you want to know?
they are superb guns we have a review written on them here somewhere look for that. also when you get one, DO NOT FIRE IT! strip it, wipe everything completely dry of the lube WE put on it and clean it and re lube it following the WE rifle cleaning guide we have on here (you'll have to find that too) it's on the brass tube system but same fundamentals apply to the open bolt, lube anything that you suspect could cause friction, a little bit of the dust cover/ejection port, the bolt itself obviously, the tigger assembly, and the rails the bolt slide's along as it fires (that's a big one!) I poibnt you to that guide because they tell you about a very specific and easy to obtain lube you should ONLY use on your rifle, anything else could damage the O rings in there etc so read up on that and do it before firing this will save you the new gun frustrations I had, was too excited and brought it out for some shooting, the ejection port didn't close all the way and BB's double fed and jammed in the magwell (there's these metal groves they travel on from the mag to the chamber if the bolt isn't lubed properly they'll get smashed and embedded into there) som bb's even managed to bounce back behind the bolt and fall into the trigger assembly jamming the gun, one I cleaned and lubed it properly taking all the factory shit off it has ran LITERALLY without failure since. will this be your first GBBR? |

Sorry to be spamming the videos everywhere guys lol
I just took it out for cold weather testing. Sorry I didn't think to get the other guns on there, my friend wanted to know specifically if the WE PDW worked in the cold. By comparison, the KJ's and WE brass tube model didn't work nearly as well. The KJ could get 4-5 rounds off then start freezing the valve open. And the WE brass tube would get 2-3 shots and then it wouldn't cycle far enough to load BB's video's are on the last post http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...=106870&page=2 |

Picked mine up Thursday from Amos and it runs like a dream. Brought it to our local indoor place and convinced everyone to let me use it, they were fine with that(Had to be shot in the ass though...). Pegging people from one side to the other with a single shot. Cactus is correct at it shootin 370 though. Need to purchase the npas($50) for it.
Its gets my thumbs up. Only down side is that every picture you see of it look makes it look like a normal m4. Was very shocked when i saw it up close.

I'd love it if WE came out with an open bolt kit for their SCAR.

this a bit off topic but has anyone seen the prototype open bolt M4 by WE? It just looks a lot like the WA system.

Judging from the comments WEtech left on their G39c video, they are re-releasing the WE M4, 416 and SCARs with open bolt systems, and possibly upgrades to their infamous hop up and barrel systems.
