XT60 connecters?

What are people thoughts?
Better than deans?
Should I take my Mini Tamiya off my gun and battery and replace it with them?

Would I see an improvement with my gun? (in sig)

On par with Dean's

They are basically some 3mm bullet plugs with a rubberish coating.

Because of wide spread use, I would still go with Dean's Ultra

Well between xt60 and deans, I would say that it depends to who you speak to. They are better than mini tamya that's for sure. Personally I don't like deans, I use EC3 connectors for my guns. Easier to solder, no eatshrink needed and easier to take apart. I would say that it's personal preference. Note that a lot of people here use dean connectors so if you ever need to borrow a battery, having dean connectors will make it a lot easier (I carry a EC3 to deans adaptor just in case).

I use both the XT60 and Deans.
I get a lot of my Lipo's from HongKong, and these come pre-wired with XT60's so I tend to use a lot of them without problems.

Some of my older batteries have Deans, and I still use them. For Airsoft, I prefer Deans, it is a smaller package.

FYI, the Female EC3 is compatible with XT60 female, so if you have batteries with EC3 and XT60, they will both work on a device that has the male XT60 connector. Unfortunaely, it doesnt work the other way. So if you have and EC3 setup, you cant use an TX60 equipped battery.

Some of my RC airplane stuff had XT60 (and ec3). They work fine, but I'm running all deans in everything so I don't need a shitton of adapters.
