G&G M4 CQB double/triple feed and/ hop up issues
Model: M4 CQB REC.
Brand: G&G FPS:300-325 Battery: 9.6v 1400 mAh Intellect The M4 has been modified with a G&P metal body, Matrix 6.02m Tigher bore, and guarder hop up unit. Everything else is Stock. The M4 when firing in either semi/auto will shoot the bb's as if the hop up has been turned all the way up, even when the hop up is completely turned off. I have tried, lubbing the hop up unit, cleaning the barrel and full batteries. Second issue, again when firing in either firing modes, The m4 will suddenly do 1 1/2 cycles, (Sounds like the gun is rewinding). causing the gun to shoot 2-3 bb's on the next shot. I have tried motor adjustments, which has improved it to a point, but now adjusting it anymore will either jam the gears or make a high pitch squealing noise., I used full batteries as well, And different magazines, which works with my brothers M4.

1) Inspect the hop up bucking for damage or anything else. Check the arm that push the nub up into the barrel too. There could be extra material that is causing the nub to be higher than normal. Also when you installed the barrel, did you install everything in the proper place?
2) "Over spin" is normal for high volt battery like yours. If you really hate it, just downgrade to and 8.4 large.

I double checked the hop up unit bucking, pristine. re-lubed once again. As for the hop up mechanism, I compared mine to my brothers M4 hop up unit, and all the parts work the same on both.
For some strange reason, taking it apart and back together fixed the hop up unit. Could of sworn I had everything installed correctly the first time. As for the double feeding, I've tried less powerful batteries same issue still occurs. Could it be possible that something within the mech box isn't doing its job right?
