Best M4 AEG
Hey guys, i know that there is probably a thread somewhere about this but here it goes!
Besides Systema what is the absolute best M4 AEG in terms of quality, performance and accuracy on the market today! Cheers and good day!

You are going to get many varying opinions.
I'll toss in a vote for G&P and add VFC. King Arms makes a decent M4 as well but I would change some of the internals. Personal preference there though.

Systema PTW, it's still an AEG (I'm sooo gonna get bashed, but it's automatic, it uses electric, and its a gun)

My bone stock G&P performed really well, I thought it was a really top notch AEG, especially externally.
Also, have had good luck with VFC, King arms, and CA.

CA, G&P and VFC are probably going to be the ones you'll see many, many times in this thread.

The SR-15 of King Arms has the reputation of behind kind of god like.
If you really want carbine sized rifle, G&P all the way, VFC is overrated in my opinion. |

Somewhat random thoughts.
I find the VFC stuff to be very jewel like. My AK ticks like a Swiss watch, the 416 (which is a M4 variant) is my regular favorite, it's had a lot of internals swapped but I got it used so It's a bit of a question mark if the changes were needed or not. The SCAR is also a super nice cosmetic package which throws BBs straight and far without much fuss. For other brands it seems like some of the new releases on the horizon from KWA will be very functional but sometimes their trades are a bit lacking. For myself, maybe a bit more VFC this summer, or something from ARES. The G&P stuff looks great but it sure isn't that common so I don't think I want to hunt one down yet. Maybe when they get their gas rifles working it'll be time to find one.

G&P - I like the variety of receivers available they're pretty kickass. The only other brand that I'd ever consider for a lower is PRIME.
VFC, CA, and KA are all solid companies as well. @moz_boz: At the budget conscious side of things it will do but I'm a student as well and I saved up my money over time in order to get my hands on my rifle (I admit that slightly malnourishing myself was probably not a good idea but hey at least I didn't get the freshman 5). Also being Asian helps since you don't need to drink as much when going out, therefore more money for airsoft stuff .

Hey Im a noob so take what I say or toss it out what ever.
I am getting my first airsoft gun and its gonna be a G&P M4. I just wish I could get it at what they are worth not the inflated Canadian prices. Last edited by Darnok; January 30th, 2011 at 15:17.. |
