Looks to me they're indeed SRC's OEM. last round stop is still there, it doesn't jam bolt like a stove pipe (yay!)

I'm disappointed, the recoil seems really weak

I wonder if it'll be as fragile as their AKS74U

Doesn't look GHK to me.

The block that he took out sounded like a different material than GHK, and the bolt looked a bit different.

The black block in the GHK is a rubber compound that's REALLY wedged in there... this one seemed not to be.

Umm it is GHK, just because their first design was like as you describe, doesn't mean their new generation AKs will use it also.

The externals look LCT though. I was hoping they were making these from the ground up (with correct to life receiver length)

If you want recoil you can't beat a classic. Those things hurts if you don't shoulder properly. And if you think that doesn't have recoil. I'll let you shoot auto buttstock shouldering to the head. It'll give you a good pounding.

To be honest GBBR world is still a huge battle... It was still a battle for GBB in general...
P226 and Glock had Marui, KSC, and Tanaka design. It's just end up with marui for most folks if the same model was available.

Currently, the battle of GBBR seems kinda sad...
Magna System where WA's investment turn worse and worse as more clone copy it.
KJW is in it's own little world turning more AR variants in Tanio-Koba design
WE is churning out as many Open-Chamber design as possible using AR style trigger system.
GHK is trying to show off their design despite all their models are basically negate by WE
KSC/KWA is trying to join the group and recoup their customers.

Really I think WE will eventually take over, KWA will survive in US due to its awesome customer service. GHK doesn't got a chance imho, and Magna system will pretty much end with ARs...

I have the same feelings, everything right now seems to point out in WE's direction. They are putting out new models like crazy (listening to what people want) and constantly update their systems (AWSS -> Open Bolt) and provide cheaper means to convert older models. WE's are far more less expensive than WAs but are not cheap like some of the WA clones.

I think WE just made a "right timing" move as they got their take on GBBRs out later than WA which countered the initiative of cloners by making them start to work on the WA system first.
