Too much 'hop-up' on HiCapa
Hey guys,
Platform: KJW 1911 "Tactical" = KJW HiCapa I have turned my hopup off (as low as the knob would go) but my point of impact is still a good 2-4 inches above my front sight at 25-30ft. Has anyone had this problem, and if so how to fix it? My rear sight is not an adjustable type and I'm already using heavier ammo.

Shoot at something farther away. Is it noticeably flying upwards?
If so something is wrong with your hopup and you'll likely have to take it apart. Also note, hopup off means the knob or arrow on the adjuster is pointing towards the business end of the barrel. |

Even with the knob turned fully forward (off) there is still a significant amount of the hop-up nub protruding into the barrel. Will disassemble unit and take a look.

It turns out that the little knob on the hop-up adjustment wheel was hitting the hop-up body and preventing the wheel from being fully turned to the left (off).
I just took a knife and sheered some of the knob off, now the hop-up can be adjusted properly. No issues with 0.3g ammo now.
