KSC Glock 19 Problem - has started to be extremely inefficient

i bought the pistol about 4 years ago used. taiwan version - metal slide it worked perfectly until about a year ago. at the time the hop-up was destroyed. i replaced it and put a Madbull 6.03 tight bore in it. since then, the gun only fires about 1-2 shots on a full mag - both of my 2x mags seem to be fine - no leaks. so i decided to upgrade first i started with:
22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 14, & 16
i also added a new recoil spring - 150%
as well as a new hammer spring - 150%
one of the 2 mags got a new enhanced valve.. which didnt seem much different.
(HurricanE tune up kit)

regardless of which springs i use (hammer/recoil) it makes no difference.
the gun is CRAZY accurate and works perfectly... for the first 2-5 shots (weather makes no difference. tried it in 30C)

i also tried using an enhanced rocket valve... which didnt work at all!

this kit was installed http://www.fire-support.co.uk/produc...r-ksc-glock-19

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
DONT FLAME... i HAVE LOOKED THROUGHOUT THIS FORUM AND GOOGLE FOR OVER A YEAR WITHOUT RESULT!! IF I HAVE MISSED A THREAD ABOUT THIS I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE!!!

That's the pic you should use as a diagram, the one you posted is a G18c, which uses some different parts in the hammer housing. In terms of getting shots off, does it shoot a couple shots and then vent the rest of the gas? Is the striker cracked at all (part 78)? With the slide off, and the hammer in the released position, if you cock it back and then cock down the striker sear, does it make a solid click or does it seem to be a bit spongy? Are you using the original plastic magazine release? If you submerge the magazine underwater when it's filled with gas, there's no airbubbles correct?

lol yeah i noticed that after i posted it. sorry bout that. well.. it seems to work fine the first few shot, then the last shot it does "vent" but so minimally its hardly worth mentioning... i mean, MAYBE enough gas to fire 1-2 shots. last time i had the hammer assembly apart was about 6 months ago. at that time part 78 looked fine (wasnt anything noticeably wrong.. but i wasnt really looking for it then either.) i REALLY hate putting the hammer assembly back together!

striker sear... is that part 81? if so, its kinda spongy, but i dont have anything to compare it to either..

yes i am using the original mag release.
i submerged both mags under water, and one had a TINY leak. that being said, both mags have the same result while firing the GBB.

THANKS!!!!

side note.. i did try testing it again this afternoon.. and well, it fired 3 good shots, then the last 2-3 shots died off - as in, less gas & less velocity - traveled maybe half the distance. im thinking maybe its using to much gas in the first 3 shots... ??

Just a quick question, do you have a near empty gas tank? If you fill them well, after 4-5 shots ir should spill out a lot of gas if there's a jam. On the other hand, if your propane tank is almost empty, you put only a small amount of gas in your mags, and after 4-5 shots they're empty...

Yes the striker sear is part 81. As for the magazine release, often with the plastic mag releases, they wear down over time causing the magazine not to seat up quite as high causing a somewhat poor seal with the blowback chamber. In terms of part 81, it's moreso if it makes a click noise after you cock the hammer itself. For example, the gun first (from resting position) cocks the hammer of the gun, followed by pushing down on the striker sear (part 81) to allow the striker itself to retract into the hammer. If the noise of the part 81 in that sequence does not sound like a click or sounds like something is rubbing, the striker may be rubbing against the outside hammer housing. Another thing to note, if the hammer housing itself the little metal piece that sticks out on the right side (if looking at the diagram) to hold down the trigger so it doesn't seat higher than the sear. If it is either damaged or broken off, it will cause the trigger to sit higher than the sear, causing it to vent gas improperly.

Something wrong with the hammer housing, the trigger should never sit up above the hammer sear, should either be against it (to release the sear and fire the hammer) or underneath the sear. The fact that it's up on top means that something is most likely damaged, either on the triggerbar itself, or the hammer housing has some damage on the metal bar that sticks out the right side (if looking down the sights) causing it to not prevent the trigger from staying down properly. Happened to my glock 26 when I put the hammer housing in bad causing the trigger bar to break off the metal piece that sticks out to keep it down. Also, part 81, sounds like it may be rubbing as it should make a fine click a bit more like the hammer (but not as loud). When disassembling and reassembling the gun, it's usually best to take out the trigger mech along with the hammer housing to prevent any unwanted damage. Can be a PITA getting it back together sometimes, but it's better than breaking off parts by accident. Would you be able to strip it down and get pics of the individual parts of the hammer assembly? If you are, please try to get pics of both sides of parts. Have you ever replaced the striker before with either a new KSC one or an aftermarket one like shooters design? Striker is part 78.

Edit: Had some more thoughts about the pistol recently, with the rocket valve, it occurs with and without the enhance rocket valve correct? Btw, have u tried a different gas tank?
