WE Open Bolt M16 VN
Can I get a "Finally!" ?
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/catalog/p...2/image/89545/ Not a 100% accurate VN but still nice to see the open bolt version at last. PS : on their online shop Ra Tech is selling both NPAS and CO2 mags |

I never noticed the VN had an enlarged forward assist.
Glad to see it called an "open chamber" ffs, "open bolt" should be added to the "A sniper is not a gun" thread. Last edited by The Chad; May 17th, 2011 at 23:57.. |

Actually my bad, I had the CAR-15 in mind without forward assist or grooves on the bolt carrier to use it.

I'm pretty sure the M16VN had a shorter-ish buttstock with a different pad? I Dunno. That one looks like a modern M16 one.
Either way, Really considoring getting one, |

I did a little bit more research and the gun is a late version of M16A1. The very first version didn't had forward assist and a slightly different stock.
The gun was bad no matter the version though |

the a1 edition had the forward assist change. Stock is shorter both in M16 and M16a1.

I'm going to be buying a bunch of these things for my WE PDW. I think they will look pretty nice and add to the overall compact nature of the gun.

The G39 mags definitly pissed me off, one of the worst mags I've seen in GBBR so as far as M16/M4 types are concerned : I'll get WA based.
