Mini Doc Sight Red-dot
I bought a (way to big/same length as my rifle) scope, and for anything less than 4x range it would be better to look down the barrel.
I'm thinking I might add one of these from Huang but I'm not sure. It would require a custom mount or some 30mmtube high riser w/rail mounts.. I searched for it, went back a couple pages, got lost reading about acog tritium radiation.... lol Just looking for some input, thanks. Last edited by R1ghty; May 30th, 2011 at 17:09.. |

If all else fails - take off that scope and use it as a club/melee weapon.
Just get an EOTech, but if you want some range, I would suggest a ACOG. |

You could try getting an Aimpoint Red Dot with a 3X Magnifier. If you put it on quick detach rails you can take it on and off quickly for close quarter and longer engagements.
Or same with Eotech |

wait do you want to replace that with a red dot or add a red dot to that?
If replace the others above are good options. If add then no you won't need to custom make anything you can buy a new mount for that one that has a built in docter sight mount or an optional ad-on like the lt-104 + lt-137 (pricey stuff) or you can buy a 30mm ring mount for the docter and use a riser. You can get these ring mounts for the docter or railed so you can use any sight.

Put the doctor on the side rail, then take off the sunshade, and replace with ard/killflash

Ive got an elcan for my mk18 mod1 setup, but its a horrible sight.
I bought this one because my eyes suck, and I don't wear glasses. I fiqured I'd get a zoomer, and I went big, not home. I should probably invest in glasses and a red dot style sight... lol I'd grab a flashkill, but I cant seem to find any that screw into my 56mm obj. |

There are some 30mm mount sets that have a rail on the top of the front mount. That is to install a docter.
Changing your rings would be the less expensive option. |
