Best motor for support AEG?

Hi,

I m running a ARES G36 (no blowback) at 400 fps with TB. 9.6v large battery on it.

I m looking at getting a motor that can shoot 15 BB per second for long long burst.

Anyone had good comments about specific motor / brand?

Thanks

Any of the G&P motors, M160 might be too strong though.

Take the motor to an RC car place and get them to lathe the comm so it's perfectly round and balance the motor, the motor will draw MUCH less from the batteries and preform much better.

I ran my 1500rpm, 360fps M249 off a G&P M140 with triple torque gears. Lasted a whole year.
Since you don't have an SW-COMP, it should last WAY longer for you. Active braking really kills motors.

Or you move up to a 10.8v NiXx Battery or LiFePo or LiPo using the same motor.

You should specifically state what C rating and brand of battery you're using. They''s a HUGE disparity in performance between different brand of 11.1v batteries. IE. Firefox lipos are shit.

P90 w/ G&P M160 motor @ 360 FPS .2s
1. GE Power 11.1v 1800mAh 16C: 38 bbps
2. G&P 9.6v mini 1600mAh: 17 bbps

-stock XYT sector+ spur gear
-G&G bevel gear
-element metal bushings
-TM piston
-Prometheus pistonhead, ARL, air nozzle
-Modify cylinderhead
-Systema Energy Type-0 cylinder

Basically, a 9.6 mini or a small 7.4v lipo will get you 15 bbps easily with one of the G&P high torque motors.

If you don't have the proper C rating for the setup your using, you shouldn't be using that battery anyway lol
I've seen 3 people now melt RC cars due to upgrading the motor and not upgrading their batteries
Haven't seen it happen in airsoft yet, but I'm keeping an eye out for those buffer tube bombs.

Hi guys, try to use high-speed gears (high speed ratio) on a 9.6v sub-C battery or a lipoly battery plus piston body with titanium teeth. I hope that helps.

You don't need full metal teeth to run 1500rpm

And 15BB/second is only 900rpm, that's a stock gun on a 9.6v mini lol

I have destroyed 3 buffer lipo's now. 2 hot power and 1 G&P, all started puffing in the buffer tube. The 11.1 hot power started smoking in my the tube.

I would got with a JG blue motor... they are hard to find but are REALLY nice.

If you use any motor with neodymium magnets (they are silver), a 7.2v large (4000mAh+) battery will give you that ROF and a lot of run time.

You can also go with a LiPo 7.4v around 3000mAh if you are using the forestock or a 5000mAh if you are using a battery pouch/KV stock

Lastly, you can get a SRC motor and have it rewound to 27T (stock marui EG1000 is 21T). More torque, more speed (because of the tighter coils) and near perfect balance if made properly and re-balanced after. Some hobbyshops will rewind motors.
