S&W 1911PD questions
I was wondering if this (http://halifaxairsoftwholesale.3dcar...stol_p_72.html) pistol is worth buying?
1) Who makes it? 2) Is the pistol reliable? 3) Where can I get spare mags? 4) What pattern are the parts, like TM Hicapa or WA 1911 or what? 5) If they proprietary parts, where can I get replacement parts? 6) I have a Skeleton Sidearms P226, is the 1911 better or worse than my P226? Thanks in advance. |

1) No clue, some 'ACM' brand trademarked by Cybergun.
2) Could be, personally I haven't ever really heard much about these pistols. C02 is somewhat consistant but its also very powerful, this will wear the internals which are typically pot metal for Cybergun models. 3) Usually spare mags aren't commonly available for Cybergun branded guns. I may be wrong, do a google search and see what comes up 4) Most likely some sort of propietary internal set to accomidate the C02, I may be wrong though. 5) Who knows? 6) From what i've heard about the SS P226, its not hard for anything to be better than it. Overall, I really think you should look into saving your money for something more quality dude. Hell, Submarineman sells KWA NS2 pistols for a bill or two extra than what that 1911 costs. I own a KWA USP (KP45) and its an amazing pistol, parts are incredibly easy to get (KWAUSA.com's proshop) along with magazines. When you're looking for a gun, you want to be able to have resources to fall back on incase something goes wrong. When it comes to cybergun brand guns, or stuff that is generally cheap. You don't have those options and in most cases you'll have to buy a whole new pistol to replace damage. |

With my SS226 I can only get about 12 shots per gas fill (is that normal?), and I've used it as my primary for most of my airsoft games, so I want more shots. Will TM mags help with that, I've read that the mags will fit but I haven't heard of any 100% conformation on it though. The site's review for the 1911 says it's got 80 shots of gas in a 12 gram, so that's why I'm looking at this 1911 (plus I love 1911s).

Just buy a better gun.
I can get up to 60 shots off on a single fill of my KP45. Last edited by Strelok; June 12th, 2011 at 18:46.. |

I think my biggest problem is I not sure if I ever actually fill the gas chamber in my mag.

I confirm about 80 rounds with a 12g cartridge of Co2.
This pistol is like KJW KP-05. ~340 fps co2. Nice recoil. I like it. |

Akheron Sombre, can you confirm if it's clone of the KJW KP-05, just with trades.

I don't find any proof, but I'm pretty sure it's a clone. At least the mags KP-05, KP-0506 co2 fit perfectly!

Thanks for the info guys. Is it possible that somebody try mixing and matching parts, like simple slides and frame swaps nothing too fancy/technical, to see if it is a TM/KJW clone, please.

It's a KJW Hicapa. TM clone, 100% compatible.

Yes. But why would you want a half-clear half-plastic gun when you can get full metal or full black?

The lack of that magic AV status. The more I read, the my problem is a crappy mag and/or seal. I should just shut up and buy a trio of TM P226 mags.

Well to tell you the truth your Skeleton Sidearmsm P226 is among the worst GBB pistols ever made. Anything is better.
