TM 5.1 Gas Problem

I have a problem with my TM 5.1, it seems to only get off ~18 shots before my magazine (4.3) runs of out. I have a metal slide so i understand that it uses more gas. Is this normal? Maybe I don't fill my mags with enough gas? How long do you usually fill it for?

Edit: I think i found the problem, Not 100% sure but 90%. After taking everything apart, including the magazines, i found that the insides of the mags were filled with gunk. After cleaning it all up and resealing it, one of my mag is functional again =D (28 - 30 shots) but my other one stayed the same. It seems that the mag itself was not filling with gas, its not leaking. After gassing it, i couldn't even get a single shot off. Maybe the fill valve (maybe not the correct term, sorry) is broken or something.

is it an enhanced hammer spring? strong hammer springs IMO are useless, it cant really make it shoot any "snappier" because that is dictated by the valve and the knocker disconnector, not by the hammer within reason, but the stock TM spring works fine in most setups, it DOES however make it MUCH harder for the slide to cycle if there is a very stiff hammer spring in it, making it use alot of gas

um yeah i believe so, it has the Guarder 150 recoil springs so I'm guessing it has the enhanced hammer one installed as well (Second hand pistol).

try a stock hammer spring, should greatly increase the efficiency and make hte slide cycle smoothly

I changed to the stock hammer spring and essentially cleaned and lubed the whole gun. Its really inconsistent now. (Hammer stopping slide from moving Solved)
This is the results of a series of test of shots taken before running out of gas

Mag 1: 31, 9, 11, 16, 10
Mag 2: 9, 12, 15, 8, 10

Mods that i know of :
IK 5.1 Metal Slide
Action Power Up Cylinder Bulb
150 Recoil Spring
High Flow Valve
Piston Head, unknown brand
Buffers

im an AEGs person, not to much of a GBB guy, but i have a TM18c GBB which i had to upgrade the hammer spring in. this is due to the original was not strong enough to handle the pressure of propane on a hot day. idk if this is the case with the hicapa or not, but i wouldnt call hammer springs completely useless. from my experience with my 18c ive only gained efficiency.

Are you sure you're filling the mags properly, and full? And waiting between tests for mags to warm up and also waiting the same time between shots on all tests? If you aren't doing any of these 100% properly then you have more than one variable and the tests won't tell you anything useful.
