m14 mount base problems.

Hello,
Can anyone help me.

I got an m14 soccom, hop-up with 22 mm rail.

But i want a m14 mount for a scope, because if i put a 4x40 scope on the rail, that wouldn't look that nice.

but the hole were i need to attatch the screws in is really small but do you guys think this mount can be attached in that hole.

I uploaded some photo's of the screws that fit in my hole

I want to buy this mount:

Thank you all.

Well assuming your M14 SOCOM is a Cybergun/CYMA, and the picture shows the mount going onto one, yes.

No idea what that brand is.
Why not buy the mount and try it out.

From what I can see your picture is showing the "right" side of the rifle.

Look on the "left" side of the rifle as that is where that particular mount will be place.

There will most likely be a "hole" where the scope mount can be screwed in on that side.

Here is a picture for reference:

That is how I have my scope mount attached.

1 will go into an existing screw hole on the side of the M14 'body/reciever' but on the other side then the picture you took (the side without the charging handle) ... the other screw will mount into a peice that slides into a wierd looking slot in front of your rear sight (there might be a peice sitting in the slot now that you will have to remove) .

.5 joule... is that a spring m14?
