guns that you dont see often?
i have a vsr-10 and its great, but sadly its over the fps limit for the field i go to. i prefer spring guns just for the simplycity of them, but i know tha eventualy i'l have to get an AEG to compete with everybody else since there isn't any companies that make nice spring powered bolt action guns that arn't sniper rifles. however if i ever get an AEG i dont want something that everubody has. what iam talking about is a gun that isn't an m4/m16 Ak47 or MP5, but the thing is all the other guns are way over my budget for now. so iam just wondering is there any good guns, no mater the price since this is a futur gun that is different. a gun that when people see it or lets say hear it they know that iam close and that a meen buisness, becuase i want something different that not alot of people have. so if sombody could help me, it would be great thanks.

Love it! Under the FPS limits, legal to import, can be carried in public, can be used in "backyard" wars, and is very affordable depending on where you live.

Apart from the ARs, AKs and MP5s, you've got the G36 and SL8/9 series, the SCAR series, the AUG series, F2000s, TAR21s, FAMAS, L85 series, P90, MP7, Skorpion, Uzi and a whole bunch of support guns. Probably many more

I've only seen an SL9 once on the field, as well as a MP40 (Noob's)

Real Sword Type 97B is an option. Rare(ish) on the field. Compact aeg with a solid build and very good range, great airseal etc etc. Quick change spring for varying fps and it takes M4 mags. The Nimh mags that real sword offer for it are a pain to install but running a 7.4 lipo instead is fine.

First, you could/should just change the spring of your VSR10 and make it gameable. Budget problem: solved. As a spring downgrade will cost you 20$ at most
Second, why is it important to have a "different" gun? Really, it won't show anybody you mean "business" because you're the only kid in your neighborhood woth gun "xyz". Airsoft is about having fun, nothing about business, and people won't really care about your gun or gear unless you're playing with a craptire clear plastic gun, that will break after a few hundred rounds, and in jogging pants. IMHO you should just get an AEG that you like and is reliable and consistant. As said already, any gun is as common as the other one. I'm still quite new Airsoft and I think I've seen most kind of guns already, except for the novelty kind of replica of older models such as mp40 and what not. Thing is, you should concentrate on having one with a lost of aftermarket options so you're not stuck with a broken gun and no replacement parts for 6 months

Why not just stick to the M4 and make it uniquely yours? Everyone and their mother here might have an M4 but the plethora of aftermarket parts ensures that virtually no one's will look like yours. The one thing you should consider before thinking looks is, how comfortable you are with the gun. I thought the way you did when I made my first airsoft purchase and I still wound up buying an M4 down the road because I can utilized it and manipulate it easier then my G36 which paid off in games.
Just something to think about.

I stand by my pick however If you want something realistic though, do what HeadlessChicken suggested. Literally you can make any gun look unique, you just have to have the creativity and funds |

a proper Shrike
jae100 M14 proper M14E2 EBR shotgun vss vintorez ... mini gun for a main/standby gun.. stay with something you can fix relatively easily WHEN (not if) it breaks down.. leave the rare unusual stuff for after you have a good reliable platform that no matter what happens it will always be there for you
