Simple answer yes, can you import it? Not unless you know how. I'm gona go one a limb here and think you wana buy from a US retailer. DON'T, think about it your trying to import a realistic replica firearm unless you know what your doing you risk the gun getting seized and money lost.
If you are wondering where to get one? I found one, not gona tell you where, but I found one. Get Age verified and members here will help you out. If you're not 18 or older then they can NOT help you out. |

Generally illegal for import however it's fine for possession/use once in Canada (as long as you aren't an idiot with it and follow safety rules and municipal bylaws).

Treat it as a real firearm, keep it out of sight and bagged until you are at a field.
And it should go without saying but the public and more importantly the police will see it as a real firearm, including deadly force. Just be smart as the majority of airsofters in this country are.

Of course, I'm not gonna be strutting around outside with an AK lol. Also what's the rules on the orange flashgaurd, can I replace it? Should I leave it on for transport and then change it to a metal at the field?

You can remove or replace it with a normal colored one. As long as you're following the 'handle like a real firearm' procedure you'll be fine
