HI capa 5.1 mid frame

Hi, I am almost finished with my m24 my parts from xfire should be in soon. now I am working on a pistol. I wanna build a custom one so I put together a part list the only thing is the mid frame. I know full frames are Illegal but what about mid frames anyone know where I can find one or will they be seized at the border? Also is it generally hard to get parts for the hI capa threw customs. thanks a lot in advance.

Mid frames for the hi-capa are illegal. Receiver (lower) frames for the Marui's 1911 line up are also illegal.

Illegal to import.
Fixed.

OP, the mid-frame of the hicapa is the frame/receiver. All other parts are fine to import.

The people who can get them in have gone through the trouble(s) of acquiring all the necessary paperwork and government licenses for importation of prohibited devices. THAT is where they are coming from.

All available via the AV'ed section.

Well instead of starting a new thread all just continue on this one I was thinking of getting a we hi capa m1 version I know these pistols are a bit worse then the tm's but I like the slid on this one and I don’t think the plastic mid frame will be a problem and if I essentially replace every part it should function much better heres my list. I'm not an expert on gbbs so if anyone finds a problem with compatibility, performance or illegal import please tell me.

we hicapa m1
pdi 6.01
9ball bucking
AS blow back housing
AS steel hammer set
SD ice magwell
AS 140% spring
9ball spring guide
SD gas release valve
nova safty lock
nova slide stop
SD grip purple
nova grip safety

A "bit" worse? How about a whole lot worse? The plastic mid frame of the WE Hi-Capas are horrible, and will self destruct sooner, rather than later.

In the sample I'd received, and several other brand new out-of-the-box models I got to look at, ALL of these plastic receivers were already starting to crack and split at the same spot.

Under heavily upgraded conditions (hardened steel hammer set and enhanced hammer spring), expect a life cycle of the hammer impact point for the following brands:

>25,000 shots: ILLusion Kinetics
<10,000 shots: Tokyo Marui
<8,000 shots: WE (Metal)
<20 shots: WE (Plastic)

The impact point is where the receiver will crack. Once it damages, the gun will no longer be able to fire properly, and you'll have a dud.

In the sample I had without any upgrades, it took 48 dry hammer drops before the impact point caved in and the gun was rendered completely inoperable. If you install the parts you are proposing, I would estimate less than 20 dry hammer drops till your gun becomes a dud.

Spending that type of money to upgrade a plastic WE Hi-Capa.... is like souping up your Toyota Corolla with chrome spinners, a 10,000W audio system and a turbocharger.... plus a loud muffler.
You just don't do it.

GET A TM! Or at the very least, get a full metal WE! Or if you're going to throw your money down the toilet, PM me and I'll give you my account info to send the money to. I'll send you this a dead WE in return.
