Face and eye protection
Hi guys,
I want your opinion on that. What is the best combo to protect your face and your eyes? |

I use a JT paintball mask. It protects my eyes and face well.

Does it aim well?

Up until now I've been using a VForce Vantage paintball mask. Protection is perfect, aiming is okay because the sides are rubber and not hard plastic, but I've been having fogging issues as I haven't applied any kind of anti-fog spray, ever.
I'm looking forward to using my ESS Profile NVG ballistic goggles, just waiting on my mesh half-mask from China so I don't have to worry about broken teeth. Personally, I would never consider using shooting glasses that don't have a full seal, or any kind of wire mesh goggles. I value my eyesight. |

My old paintball mask I hade was cut down so aiming was good.
It worked well and broken teeth.

I've settled on JT Spectra paintball goggles.
Great for anti-fogging, most of the circle of friends I play with now uses these due to the anti-fog protection and the fact that they are acceptable at paintball fields that don't recognize airsoft eyewear. I'm also about to test out the Revision Military Exoshield goggles. I have tried a few other goggles in combination with Fogtech and I have yet to find any goggles that actually manage to survive a game with Fogtech. I have lent out goggles to friends with Fogtech on them that managed to do fine, so I think *I* might be the problem, not Fogtech (I've also tried out ESS Advancers with with Fogtech, and they fogged, which really sucks because they're really really nice). |

In CQB/inside:
ESS Striker goggles + cheap mesh mask. or Eye Tactical helmet + mask Outside: ESS Striker goggles + mouth guard.

The mesh guard is a great solution. I really recommend against a full mask if you can afford goggles and a mesh teeth guard. Paintball masks are not low profile enough for you to aim down the barrel of the gun if you shoulder it.

If you like goggles with a lower mesh for your face it will work great.
But if you are on a budget, I got one of these from Canadian Tire, its a JT that uses a upper approved paintball goggles and special lower portion for airsoft, the teeth area is solid plastic to prevent BBs from passing through and it has ear protection (bonus). Got it for $39 which is the price of a pair of airsoft goggles. You can cheek the stock and use the stock sights with no problems. |

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

Plus one on ESS glasses and the mesh mask. Don't get a cheap mesh mask though. The better ones fit the back of the head better and more comfortably. Also you can adjust the cross wires in the mesh mask to your face. Easy and safe and comfy. Military grade eye protection, and a mask that won't force your breath up into your eyewear to fog it up.
