Boots vs Runners

This is for you new people, spend the money on quality footwear. it is NOT a guarantee that injuries wont happen but it's good insurance! had I not been wearing my 8 inch magnums today this would have broken for sure, but instead all I have is a rolled ankle.

I agree with this 100% I have rolled my ankles many times, and the only thing that did save me was my magnums as well. DO NOT cheap out on good foot/ankle support.

I was planning on picking up a pair of 6" 5.11 taclite boots for everyday use. Don't think I'll wear regular shoes on a daily basis again.

Yeah my Bates and Magnums have kept me from rolling/breaking my ankle several times. Especially in the pitch black at the Picton Zombie game.

RGR. Your toes threw me off, looked like your big toe on the left side.

On the positive, at least you can see your ankle bump.
I sprained mine once, so swollen I didn't have an ankle bump, and there was a ton of black bruising.

That was in shoes.. but then again its hard to skateboard in combats.
