Changing ESS Turbofan Goggles Lens?
I recently picked up ESS turbofan goggles from ehobbyasia (http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ea-gear-t...set-black.html) but I can't seem to figure out how to pull it apart to change the lens.. does anyone have any suggestions?
I tried this manual here (http://www.esseyepro.com/uploads/gui...e_TurboFan.pdf) but I can't seem to find any part that feels like it'll come apart without physically tearing it or ripping the goggles apart. |

I have the real ESS goggles and I just grab the frame and flex it apart. The lenses pop in and out no problem.
Maybe the clone ones have the clear part glued in so it won't pop out at the wrong time?

Yup. The frame just pulls off the lenses. Be advised, the Ehobby goggles are clones and real ESS lenses do not fit. The notches in the real ESS lenses are smaller and won't lock into the frame of the clones.

Ahh here was my problem. I was thinking I had to pull the front and back apart (which made no sense since there was no separation) but really it's just pulling back the edges that cover the lens. Thanks!
