Should be like any other M4 AEG. Mechbox.com has a bunch of vids (although other parts of the SCAR are different).

1. Take off motor/grip plate
2. remove wires from motor
3. remove motor
4. remove screws holding grip to mechbox
5. swap grip

reverse to reinstall everything...then readjust the motor.

If you're not 100% on any of that...research a bit more (i.e. mechbox.com...ASC search for Motor Height Adjustment...etc...)

one thing to pay attention to, the metal is not of any sort of high quality, be VERY careful not to strip the screws on the re-install

Good catch Mike...firm finger tight is good enough.

Especially with the motor plate screws on some of those MOE grips...the support plastic around the nut aren't always very thick.

And...missed this...once you have the motor height set right, a very small amount of blue/temporary loctite will keep it from backing off.

It could be more involved than just spinning tools. Read this thread.

I can't recall what Eric ended up doing, but he's solid. Don't know how much it was off and which grip he was using. Some of the different versions/runs have been different.

Last time we took apart a bunch of the VFC SCARs we weren't swapping all sorts of brands and parts around.

Well if you are familiar with dremel tool the go ahead and try out since VFC SCAR-L won't accept AEG MOE grip without modification because the angel of the SCAR body if I remember correctly. Hope it help.
