Ics m4 ris?

Hey guys. I have a basic ICS M4 with the round front. I am looking for a RIS system compatible with the ICS as they are apparently anal with anything else fitting on them correctly.

Current:

I want or something similar:

Has anyone done this mod or know where to get them?

Thanks.

That is an A.R.M.S. S.I.R. System the model is I beleive #50C

I had a REAL one on one of my PTW's, very plasticky "bottom portion" and very bulky, just not my taste... There should be some clones out there
http://www.armsmounts.com/default.asp?mode=sir

The VLTOR CAVS-EL is very similiar to the S.I.R. system; futhermore, it is more sturdy...I had one of those also...
http://www.vltor.com/handguards_and_...pics.htm#CASV1

Both of these 2 systems are a very simple which are drop-in and tight the top rail on to your upper receiver....

edit" Sorry I forgot about that S.I.R. I had; I needed to disassemble my delta ring and use the barrel nut only...however, maybe there are clones that might allow you to have the rail system with the delta ring intact...

Awesome. Thanks man.

And both of these are compatible with the ICS m4 frame?

Just looked at the prices on these...I could buy a new gun for the price of these lol...

Anything in the 100$ range?

These were REAL ones that I had and they were on my Systema PTW's which was MILSPEC...I would not see why it should not fit, unless the ICS upper receiver rail's dimension is not up to specs, I beleive that ICS rail is 20mm so it is a little smaller than MILSPEC...

The product you're looking for is ICS MA-12 - thats the S.I.R

You'll want to avoid the ABS Plastic ones if you can, but if price is involved do what you gotta do.

I've seen people with plastic ones break them in pieces when putting a foregrip on and running around. They're not very sturdy unless you're very very careful with them.

Dboys CASV is similar and can be used with your delta ring:

Might find something interesting in this thread:

the "not compatible part is the ICS is the delta cap (front), the ring is fine.
I picked up a used RIS on the boards for $15 and it fits no prob with a G&G (or other "milspec" sized brand [look for the larger 90* cutouts at the bottom of the ring]) delta cap and a lot stiffer/solid than the stock set up. the screw hole in the delta cap is larger than the ICS, but the ISC screw head matched the dimensions of the whole for me. compression fit kept it tight.

depending on the version of your M4 either the fore site of the barrel will have a screw to adjust for the difference in length.

if your M4 is forward wired you have only 1 choice of battery that I'm confident will fit (ordered 2 from hobbyking.com will try to remember to post a confirmation of fit here) a Turnigy 7.4 1200 mah lipo, they have a couple 7.4/1200, you need the one with the smallest dimensions

Turnigy nano-tech 1200mah 2S 15~25C Lipo AIRSOFT Pack Turnigy nano-tech 1200mah 2S 15~25C Lipo AIRSOFT Pack

Spec.
Capacity: 1200mAh
Voltage: 2S1P / 2S Cell / 7.4V
Discharge: 15C Constant / 25C Burst
Weight: 68.1g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 125x6x20mm (Each)
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: Mini-Tamiya (Mini Molex)

Relevant for an RIS - not to be confused with the SIR rail system.

thought his orrig post said either (RIS) or (SIR)
ICS SIR is about $200 or $280 for the whole upper receiver (there's one on the boards not sure which brand for $75)
ISC SIR has no issue holding the standard battery that comes with

they finally arrived, and they fit in the RIS with out any pressure on the battery
getting all the wiring folded in can be a bit of a challenge.
the small 2-3S voltage monitor that airsoftparts.ca carries is the only one I've seen that's small enough to fit inside the RIS with them
