Winter Spring for WE M4

I might need a winter spring for my GBBR, does anyone know someone in the GTA that has them? A stock buffer spring would probably work too, if someone could suggest how many coils to take off.

Thanks

what do you mean you need a winter spring? GBBRs don't use spring power. If you're talking about the recoil spring, why do you need a different one? What kind of performance are you trying to archive?

You can use any WA/G&P spring. Don't know if it's really worthwhile unless you're having issues with short-cycling...and if you are, it's marginal that a buffer spring will make up the difference if the root issue is that it's freaking cold outside

Typically changing gas sources (i.e. CO2 vs. Propane) makes enough of a difference for winter.

I'm running CO2, but I want to increase the time the bolt carrier dwells at the rearmost position. I'm hoping that will let the magazine have enough time to actuate the bolt stop. The ony other possibilities I can think of are either a heaver buffer or weighting the bolt (I've filed the bolt stop as per Qlong's guide, going to try really stretching the follower springs today).

You can try running the light buffer spring (there's one on eBaybanned, "winter spring") and a heavier buffer (you can even try a RS one, the 84g carbine buffer)
