UTG AK problem

I have a UTG AK-47 Paratrooper. The problem is peculiar. When I put in the battery and pull the trigger the weapon will fire a single shot and the stop working. I checked the battery and it's good. I have not dissasebled the gun it, 'cause I don't want to damage it.
All ideas appreciated.
Also could someone tell me how to fully diassemble the gun?

Have you checked the battery connections or fuse ports for signs of corrosion? Are the wires touching the batteries?
