full metal KWA M9 PTP vs. cansoft KJW M9

Hello everyone I'm in the market for my first M9 GBBP and, as you can see from the title I've narrowed it down to two brands. Now I have done a lot of research over the last two weeks and, I'm stuck I can't decide. So, I was hoping if you guys could share some of your knowledge on which is the better gun?

Well you're underage, and one site sells to minors and carries the KWA but I'm not aware of any sites that sell to minors that carry the KJW so that should make your decision easier.

really you couldn't just give me an answer you had to be a jerk about it. also your wrong no sites in Canada sell to minors. last just because i'm not av'ed doesn't mean im not of age it means i'm just getting in to airsoft and dont see the point to getting av'ed.

Regardless of what you think, the rules of this forum are their for a reason, and personally I don't see them changing anytime soon. Think of it this way, if you get AV'ed, you'll only have to do it once and you will never have to worry about someone replying to one of your threads with "get av'ed durr, then I'll tell you"

I really don't see any downsides to getting AV'ed, where do you see them?

Get The KWA if you want a hassle free gun, The KJW I think is TM compatible if you would want to upgrade it.

KWA M9 get's my vote over the KJW.

thank you summers for your help in the matter. to anyone else that has posted in here i would just like to say nowhere in the rules does it say you cant tell a non-AV'ed member about the quality of airsoft guns.

The KWA is generally better, but a KJW is no slouch either, it's a workhorse.

The KWA is heavier and shoots harder (350fps), and also has more realistic operation like when you put the safety on, it decocks the hammer.

Don't trust Styrak. He's flamed me once before I got my age verified tag. Now that I got my tag, nobody gives me shit. Having the AV tag meant that I threw it on the ground! I don't need your handouts! I'm an adult! Please! You can't buy me hot dog, man!

But yeah seriously, ASC, without an AV tag, people will just pick on you until you get one. Also, there's an unwritten rule on ASC that forbids non AV'd or newly AV'd people from asking too many questions within a single period of time, so choose your questions wisely, or reservists will also pick on you no matter whether it is warranted or not. Especially if it is unwarranted.

Most of it is just trolling tho so just let it slide.
