aside from hobbyking...
is there any battery places out there that sell lipos or lifes?
I am searching for a 3s 20c cell that is smaller than 21mmx35mmx105mm. I have one 11.1v lipo from hobby king that are those exact dimensions but it does not fit in a CA p90 body, while it fits in a TM body just fine. |

dang... guess I'm hoping too much for something over 1200mah at that size... I like the snappyness of the 11.1... but I wonder if I could get that with a higher discharge 7.4?

If you go through 800mah lipo in one 6 or 8hours game...shoot less and work on your trigger control.

get a burst wizard. I find the 3rnd helps a hell of a lot plus built in lipo monitor!
not hard to carry a spare battery. and p90 is a quick change

I have a cheetah triggermaster in both my in service guns. lipo monitor, burst and rate of fire control.
oh those pesky inches.... I just converted the measurements to imperial... that 800mah is too tall.. the length and width are fine but it's too tall to fit in the p90. |

Might not be fitting because your TM had the battery spacer removed?
It's a common modification that people where doing back when LiPos where non-existant. Check down the battery hole. There was a molded spacer at the bottom to prevent a mini 8.4v from moving around. You would have to break it off with a modified screw driver (flat with a notch in it to break the plastic tab). |

no the body on this CA is actually warped. the right half of the body has the piece that's supposed to brace the top of the gearbox sitting slightly off kilter, making the battery compartment about half to 1mm shorter. Depth of the compartment is fine for the batteries I'm using.
I'd have to split the halves and put some heat on that piece to try and bend it back to shape but that's kind of risky for me, better to find a battery that fits better. I think I found one so I'll give that a try. |

I read "Do you know any place that sells lifes?" (because I skim and read too fast) and I thought:
Isn't airsoft supposed to be a SOCIAL game? Seriously though, I use cheapbatterypacks.com if possible because they have excellent service and the quality of their batteries are top notch.

I use these in my TM p90. They work great and are smaller than the dimensions you listed. |

Thread jacked.....
Heading into the lipo world, one question: Can a Lipo Monitor 3S be used on a 2S lipo battery? Or is it only compatible with 3S?

If it's a buzzing one, generally no. If it shows voltage, most of the time yes, it will just show 0.00v on the last cell.
