maruzen m11 w/ propane
hey, so i just ordered a maruzen m11 and i was just wondering if this gun is compatible with green gas without shattering the bolt after the first 100 rounds or so. i can't find any magnesium bolts as the ksc m11's have so i wasn't sure if the gun is stock metal or there just isn't much for it. thanks in advance

From what I have heard ( never actually used one, but from what I have read) you really shouldnt use propane with the Maruzen M11.
Looking at the Redwolf Maruzen products, there are very few Gbbs that propane is sfae to use with. (They tell you if thy gun can use propane, or just HFC134a)

Umm you probably should have researched first. The Maruzen is probaby way less in plastic quality than the KSC. Plus there are no upgrade parts anywhere that I have heard of.

you better stay with 134A gas. If you break the Maruzen M11, there is no replacement parts on market.

The Maruzen MP5K doesn't handle propane well, but there is suppose to be a mod around that. M11 may be the same way, perhaps.

Japanese manufacturers make their guns to run on HFC-134a/Duster
Taiwanese manufacturers make their guns to run on green gas/propane. This is a simple rule i've run by, there are some exceptions to the rule though. But basically if it's a Japanese gas gun, it's made to run on HFC-134a/duster, so keep it at that. |
