G&G G980 Issues.
So, Just bought one off of the classifieds and it seems buggered.
Despite being on a c02 magazine. The gun is barely getting any velocity at all, Almost seems as if the hammer spring in the bolt isn't nearly as strong enough to actually punch enough gas out of the magazine. Really frustrating. Anyone have similar experiences? Thanks. |

There's nothing wrong with the strikers on either of the magazines.
How can I tell if the hammer is broken? I looked at it, there is no chipping or anything like that along the parts that contact, and the hammer seems to fall solidly enough. |

Did you buy it new from a retailer or used from a user? Either way, I'd say contact them.

Got it used from a person on the classifieds. He's been great so far as far as helping along.
Alright, so I've managed to fix the gun a little. I opened up the bolt and tightened the hammer spring screw and its actually shooting now. But still not very hard at all. Question for those that have one. When you fire the gun, that little plug on the back of the bolt (The hammer?) has about 5mm of give back and forth, is that normal? I can't seem to tighten the thing any further. Thanks |
