VSR vs Hicapa Barrel
Bear with me here and my crazy shenanigans.
Standard Hicapa barrel ends look like this: Now, Hicapa (along with a few other TM pistols) use the same hopup rubber as VSR. However VSR barrel ends look like this: If I wanted to use a VSR barrel in a Hicapa hopup unit, would it even work? Could I just remove the extra material? I'm doubtful since there's different index cuts on the barrel. |

Well if anyone wants to know, I figured out that picture of a PDI barrel isn't a standard VSR barrel. The stock TM VSR style and TM pistol style are identical.
No problems, happy happy! |

Yup, We installed a VSR G-Spec barrel in a hicapa... with a big silencer...
It gives not advantage what so ever. And the gun can't cycle half the time... You would need to use a fixed barrel and a frame-mounted comp/silencer... And no one makes a stock kit for the capa.... could probably mod a scope mount to make one though... |

Hehe, I didn't tell you the other details.
SAS Strike Kit (support for the supressor and barrel, with threads), supressor. Last edited by Styrak; August 21st, 2012 at 14:55.. |

Yes, but you still need a fixed barrel kit, because the stock mech rocks the barrel at an angle. You can either bore out the stock/regular bull barrel and have sloppy accuracy or install a fixed kit.

VSR & Hi-Capa barrel is same design. Same Hop up rubber no any issue.

had a shortened vsr barrel in my tm mk23 it ran to the end of the silencer, the only mods done where cutting off the bridge and re crowning the end.
