AK47 Cybergun EBB strip?

I purchased a mid cap today and tried testing it. The gun jammed after two shots. I am wondering if anyone has experience with stripping this gun to fix the problem? You tube showed a different ak with ebb no help there. Thanks in advance.

To be honest I don't know. The barrel is clear. However when I press the trigger the motor is struggling to turn. Seems like the bb is stuck somewhere there. The issue with me is that I do not know the proper procedure to strip the gun. I want to learn how to fix it ocean it happens again on the field.

If it's a simple bb jam just use the unjamming rod that should have come with your gun to poke down the barrel and clear the jam. The only place a bb can really get stuck is in your barrel or your hop up. If it's in there you'll be able to see it by either looking down the barrel (observing proper safety procedures of course) or by looking into your hop up. If you don't have an unjamming rod you'll have to improvise. Don't use anything that will scratch your barrel and be gentle down near where the barrel meets the receiver. Thats where your hop up is and you don't want to tear the rubber.

Make sure your battery is charged, that could be why your motor is struggling to turn. If you're using a wall charger and a battery that came with the gun... well those have a history of being shit and dying quickly. Wall chargers WILL kill your batteries. Try someone else's battery to make sure yours hasn't shit the bed.

Try to find out the OEM of your gun (my guess is that it's CYMA), Cybergun only provides trademark licences it doesn't manufacture guns. That should help you search for a disassembly guide. As far as disassembly, the bulk of it should be the same as most airsoft AK's. Yours will be a little different though because of the EBB garbage inside. Four screws under the gun to remove the barrel, one screw under the pistol grip to remove it, one screw through the selector switch and that should basically get your V3 mechbox out.

Be gentle when taking it apart don't force anything or put stress on your wires. Don't lose anything and remember where everything goes. If you're uncertain take it to a gun doc there are plenty in the GTA.

Typical newbie mistake. Battery ran dry.

Shitty battery didn't even last 100 shots (it is the factory shit).

What would you recommend me buying as a battery / charger combo? I have a game this coming weekend.

IMO Itelect makes a good battery for the price mine have lasted well, you should be good to use a 9.6v. There are a lot of good chargers on the market but I like my Onyx 220 charger, it's great if you only plan on using nickle batteries. If you plan on using lipo or life batteries down the line get the Onyx 230. There is a hobby shop near Woodbine and Danforth that sells them I think it's called John's hobbies, that's where I got mine.

Which ever charger you end up with get a programable one. It will let you set the voltage and mah of the individual battery you're charging so you don't overcharge as well as the amps you want it to charge at.

Ok weird thing is happening to my gun.

I THOUGHT it was out of battery when the motor struggled to turn.

So I went and got a new battery - charged it - (another cheap chinese battery for temp, cost $20).

With the new battery in, in AUTO mode the gun fires fine for a while.
After I release the trigger, and fire again, motor struggles to turn again.

After a few repeated attempts to pull on the trigger, the gun magically fires again.

It happens randomly.

Could my EBB be stuck? Trigger Issues? Wiring? Battery?!

The gun is new from a local retailer. I've only fired about 50 bb's for testing purposes.

unlikely but does it jam when shooting it with the top cover off? watch your faux bolt cycle as you shoot and see if it binds on anything. shouldn't matter as it should still cycle.

Hi coach. I took the cover off only to find the ebb components and a plastic top in the way. At that point I did not feel comfortable venturing further.

I had similar jamming last year when I got my AK. The piston would get thrown off angle because the recoil weight was shifting side to side. There is a screw on the inside left side of the receiver that could be loose. If you take off the fake bolt, you should see this spring.

The left hand side of the spring is attached to a metal piece that slides back and forth with the blowback, that piece has a screw keeping it close to the inside wall of the receiver.( It's to the right and slightly below my finger in the following picture, partially covered in grease)

If the screw is loose, the lateral movement of the blowback weight throwing the piston out of whack could be your problem .
Mine was loose, but since I tightened it I've had no more jamming.
Unless you have a really short angled philips screwdriver, you'll need to disassemble quite a bit to get at it.

The actual problem was a weak battery that could not bare the load

Solved after 100 dollars spent on batteries and charger
