Mad Bull DD Barrel Nut for G&P

I've put this in the Wanted Thread. I hope I dont get punished by the mods for this.

I'm wondering if anyone has been able to buy a Mad Bull DD Barrel Nut for G&P recently?

I've just ordered a whole guns worth of parts to start my WA build, and oddly enough, this is the only part I am missing.

I would love any help getting one of these.

Cheers.

From what I can tell they are sold out everywhere and the response from retailers is that they are back ordered indefinitely right now. I suppose it's possible that Madbull stopped producing them but I'm doubtful of that. I would say the best bet for an answer would be to call Madbull or maybe try Jag Precision and see what they have to say.

Quick Thought: If it's for G&P threading... can you use an RS nut?

Like I said everyone is out of stock. I contacted Jag Precision, they're going to get a hold of MB for me and then link me with a local dealer when they have it in stock. At the moment according to them no retailer has them in stock anywhere.

Doesn't WA use RS thread size for the barrel nut?

If so, then use the stock nut. I used it without problem on one of my WEs.

I bought the G&P receiver off of the classifieds, and I dont think it has a stock barrel nut.

Would the G&P Receiver be the same specs for the threads as the WA? If so I'll source a barrel nut from DD.

The Madbull rail didnt come with one? The DD rails usually come with a special barrel nut.

I'll find out when it gets here, but from the pictures/website, it only comes with the delta ring equivalent, the ring that mounts to the receiver to hold the rail itself in place. Because there is an optional G&P barrel nut available on airsoftparts.ca, im guessing one isnt included with the mk18 rail.

That ring replaces the whole barrel nut/delta ring assembly. And the one that comes with it fits RS sized threads, so if the WA/G&P receiver takes RS barrel nuts you don't need to buy am extra one.

Ah sorry I might have my terms mixed up then. I'm looking for this:

The rail will come with this:

The one with the six holes.

Okay I don't know if you're buying new or used; if you're buying it new, both those parts should be included.

I have a Madbull DD Omega-X and DD Mk18 Mod 1 rails, and they both came with all the necessary hardware to install. Unless the included mounting nut has a different thread size than your receiver, you don't need to buy one. Or unless you bought a used one and it doesn't come with it.
