Rail handguards for Type 56-1 & Cyma AKS-74U help
Hi there.
I'd like to put some some rails on my RS Type 56-1 and Cyma AKS-74U but am not sure what handguards would fit... I'll start with the RS, I figure since it's suppose to be very realistic that a real RIS handguard would work but was looking for some confirmation. Not sure if it's an issue but I run lipos that extend into the upper handguard. Next I'd also like to put a rail system on my Cyma AKS-74U as well. I read that Cyma's build is different from VFC & Dboys and while I've found rails that are compatible with the latter, I have yet to see something that has been confirmed to work on the Cyma. Any help on finding something that works would be appreciated. Yes I prefer the look of AKs without rails but I've got to be realistic, I like to bolt crap onto my guns. Thanks. |

Off the top of my head
Type 56-1 1. Any RIS designed for a real AK-47 front end will work. CYMA AKS-74u 1. Use a rail adapter on the side optic rails, but you lose the ability to fold the stock. 2. Front RIS http://www.ebairsoft.com/aabb-alumin...4u-p-6178.html There are a few others, like Rails that replace the rear sight and rails that co exist with the AKS-74u rear sight, but they aren't built for airsoft gun dimensions. Hope this helps |

The CYMA AKS74U is TM type/compatible. So anything that works with TM compatible AK's will work.
