Prices of classified guns, worth getting verified for?
Hows it goin guys,
Im lookin at getting my first airsoft rifle and looking almost dead set on getting the lancer tactical m4 for about $130 new. Now my question is, what are the guns like that go for $150 and under in the classified's? Is it worth meeting up with someone and then waiting 2 weeks to get verified and then finding a deal? Thanks much appreciated |

There are almost no decent guns that go for that price.

It is worth it, and it's also worth it to triple your investment capitol. Trust me on this.

You should get AV'd regardless of the clasifieds or not. But no you probably wont find any dscent aeg new or used below $300 with eception of maybe a kraken those are cheap new they shoot decent outta the box but they are clearsoft and will need a bit of tweakin out of the box to raise their reliability and ull wanna paint it and start saving for a metal body right away for when i breaks so all said and done your beter to just save a few hundred and buy somethin beter off the hop.

what about the king arms m4 for about $200? Looks to be partly metal, metal gearbox, shoots 370. Seems almost as good as a more expensive gun

I don't know where you are finding these prices but I would not recommend trying to import them from the US unless you know the import laws and understand the additional fees involved.
Being age verified also gets you into the AV retailer section here which has had some great prices on new guns lately. Better than what's been in the classifies for the most part.

KA have nice externals. Tho i hear fitting some aftermarket externals may have some issues. The mechboxes are spose to be okay as well.
So they are a decent gun as fsr as i gather. Keep in mind a plastic body will likely need to be replaced at some point at a cost of 100 or maybe more plus labour if u cant do it yourself. Again still get yerself AV'd people will be more likely to help u out and such if fhe know u arent just some kid. If u live in the toronto area there are a bunchof places u can get it done at. Plus you can check out some sweet gear at the same time.

And for 40 bucks more you can go full metal the coice seems clear to me. While rambo is at TA i think he can get av'd too depending on who is working.

It's important to note that just about every gun in the classified section has 'never been gamed' or has 'only used for plinking' or has 'only been gamed once'. And if you believe that, I've got a very nice bridge to sell you (and not the Ambassador Bridge).

Which means non playable. Add a spring, a gundoc to swap it, and your price is not valid anymore.

m100 springs can be found at homedepot for almost nothing and why need a gundoc is it that hard to swap it yourself?

I don't think it works that way.... You could probably get something off the shelf but wouldn't you need to know the dims and specs of the spring in question?

Didnt know bome depot was doin airsoft now, nice lmao.
And yes you will have to take the whole gearbox apart. Good time to degreass and regrease and properly shim the gears too. If u dont know wht ur doin u can do more harm then good. Im prety handy but when my first gun cracked the gearbox i got a new shell cheap and tryed to rebuild it twice and just couldnt get it workin correctly it is easy once u learn but u dont wanna be learning on yer brand new toy only to f it up and have to buy gears or somethin too cause of a bad shim job. Plus to do it right youll have to buy bushings and or shims and grease and such. We are juzt tryin to give u sound advice. Get somethin that shoots 400 or less game it a bit then see if u want to buy somethin more fancy or not. Airsoft (sven with all the recent price drops) iz not a cheap sport to play. You sill probably spend 3-500 on a decent gameable gun. 100 bucks or so on boots and if u want 100 or so on some cammo. Then you will need a chest rig or at least a belt and some mage pouches some extra mags so u dont just have one rattley ass hicap. Maybe an extra batery and some good eye protection do yourself a favor save up 500-1000 bucks and get everything u need to play safely and u wont regret it. If h do regret it u can resell everything for very little loss after u vet AV'd.
