Airsoft Silencers

Hey I was just wondering if I needed to get any adapters if I were to buy a silencer for my WE Tech HK4168, or is it as simple as unscrewing the flash hinder and putting the silencer on?

You just have to know what thread is on the gun and get a silencer with the same thread.
Most vunz have a 14mm negative thread id assume thats what your gun has.
The majoraty of airsoft mock suppresors have both a negative and posative 14mm thread. One on each end of the silencer so itll be prety easy to juzt grab one of those and itll fit no problem.
Some qd type supressor will need to use a certian flash hider so for those u will need to know what yer thredd pattern is.

There are different types, some are clockwise or ccw threads, some go on behind a flash hider. Probably a good idea to be able to remove the stock one though just in general. Some have a set screw holding them on some are glued on and some are thread sealed on.

My CA M15 was CCW threads with a set screw and thread locker.

As far as I've read I believe g&p are one of the only companies to use cw threading.
Be aware that suppressors are merely for esthetics when it comes to airsoft unless your using a gbb and it has foam in it.
alternatively you could use a longer barrel and simply have the suppressor to hide it if your trying to increase accuracy, but 9.9 times out of ten upgrading and tuning your hop up will have much better results when it comes to increasing accuracy and range.
