Tanaka (TW) Glock 17 -ehobby

Hey all, new to the forum.

I've searched the forum and I haven't really found an answer(also searched google but no luck), I'm looking to buy a Glock 17 from the store(of course I will also need to get a gun license), but before I do that I wanted to get familure with the Glock series so I found the Tanaka Glock 17 on ehobby, but I wanted to confirm that these could be shipped into Canada? Looks like some people were able to get them in so does that mean their legal? What are the consequences of me ordering one and trying my luck? It's currently sold out but heres the link:

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/tanaka-gl...vy-weight.html

If anyone can shed some light on this it would be extremely helpful. Or if anyone has any alternatives I'm all ears. Thank you all

Please read the FAQ's re Age Verification. I highly suggest not ordering that from overseas. You stand a very good chance of it being seized.

Well not to scare you, I read that if you buy a replica (airsoft gun) and it's been caught, the gun is shipped back to the retailer and if they don't take it, it,s destroyed. In the worst scenario, you pay have to pay a fine or even have to go in court. Read that on a forum i'll try to find it.

I read the FAQ but this isn't a gun, it doesn't fire live ammo.

I don't think that matters.

Probably will not make it to your door. you'd be out the purchase price and shipping costs. You do not need a license for airsoft guns here. although some probably should require one. I'm going to save you getting flamed too, get age verified quickly and before you make anymore posts about buying guns. You'll get a lot more respect from the ppl here if you AV'd

Best it will be just to buy in Canada anyway. More safe and faster shipping (i'm pretty sure a couple of guys will help you to find what you want even not AV, they helped me but just be sure to search the FAQ first for your answer)

i already sent out a AV request, waiting back. Just trying to get some more info on how to handle a gun, before spending $800 + on one.

If it fires above 366fps, you're good to go. Regardless of what anyone here says.

If it doesn't fire, or fires below 366fps, and looks like a real gun, it won't get through.

That thing is not in stock and probably never will be.

As a rule if you put your location in your profile you'll get much better info on where to get AV'd and maybe where current events are so you can try on an airsoft Glock.

Even if it was in stock, it uses faux 9mm shells, chances of customs even letting it in are next to none, it will most likely be destroyed.
