AUG Wiring Clearance
So in my hands I have my friend's CA AUG. He asked me to do some gearbox work for him. When I was sliding the gearbox back in, I realised there was next to no clearance for where the red wire is soldered to the motor connector to get back in. Due to the lack of clearance and poor factory soldering, it popped off, and I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to solder the wire back on and have it fit.
I'm not particularly keen on sanding if there is a better solution. |

Should not be soldered... There is a crimped connector that fits on the motor tab. It really adds only half a millimeter, so there is plenty of clearance.
The wire then goes up along the back of the motor and on the left side in a plastic clip to hold it in place. There is enough space between the mechbox and receiver to fit even 3-4 wires. |

It was soldered from the factory, and I didn't have any connectors on me, nor time to get some before he needed it back.
I found a solution, thanks though. |
