Sig 550 Upgrades.
Okie, Got a bit of an urge to get a Sig aeg again & looking to make it somewhat of a long range gun.
Only have a few questions Aug full tune up kit, would that work well with a Sig 550? Also if I wanted to install a PSG-1 length inner barrel (650mm) just what all would I have to use with it? (Would be pushing 400fps out of it for sure.) I've been reading around on the forum here & saw some stuff about bore-up kits, what exactly is the deal on those? Thanks for any & all replies. |

the sig 550 is a really nice gun. i've heard that the burst mode on the sig 550 and 551 aren't really reliable though.

650mm PSG-1 inner barrel would require a bore-up kit and a spring equivalent to a Systema M120 or STRONGER to get it to function properly and at maximum efficiency. Especially if using any sort of burst or full auto fire.
Based on your requirements, it's pointless to get an AUG FTK, because of the bore issue, and plus... the nozzle won't fit a SIG anyways. Such a custom application requires sourcing each individual part. You can get some kits that will cover several items, such as this boreup cylinder set for the Sig 550: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...m=SYS-ZA-03-09 Comes with bore up cylinder, bore up cylinder head, bore up air nozzle, bore up piston head. |
