Orga Magnus Wide Bore Inner Barrels

Was wondering if anyone had experience with the Orga Magnus Widebore Barrels?

Was wondering if they will decrease FPS by a lot? i read on youtube someone had a 100 FPS decrease wit hthe 6.23 Widebore Barrels..... was wondering if this was true LOL

Kinda interested since it says it increases Accuracy though

Please let me know

Well, don't get a 6.23 cause that's just stupid.
I've got a 6.10 in my PTW and it's working pretty damn good
King has a 6.13 in his P* that apparently is just the tits.

I FUCKING LOVE THE QUALITY.
Unbelievable how nice they are, a true Japanese product.
Unknown how much the 6.13 drops the fps since it's on a P*, but my 6.10 dropped me about 15fps from my 6.04
So going from a 6.08 to a 6.10 I'm guessing you'd lose maybe 5fps?

Well shit. I guess I'll just have to get one to try out.

They only make 6.23 for AEGs. Their 6.13 is a coated Teflon barrel and we know how well that works over time...

From some of the more detailed reviews and comparisons I have read going from a quality TBB or stock to a Orga WBB gives you a minute improvement in performance, most users saying <10% better.

Given the difference in cost i'd probably pick a quality TBB over Orga.

Forgive me: can someone elaborate on the main differences in performance between a TBB and WBB? This is the first I am hearing of a 6.23mm barrel so I'm just uneducated on the matter.

From what I understand with a wide bore you're floating the BB on a pocket of air like the Tanio Koba TK Twist barrel except this theoretically works for a wide range of FPS.

Trueness matters the most to get consistency and after that you have to start using a few different ideas, whether it's bouncing the BB off the walls less (in the case of a TBB) or trying to "float" it on a pocket of air (like the wide bore tries to do).

Personally not a fan of the price but I'd like to build something up in the future to test (or just wait for reviews and see if I want to put one in or if I'm fine with COTS stuff because I'm getting into other hobbies).

They make a 6.13 for AEGs, I have physical evidence of this lol
6.23 would be good for shorter guns or P*
Really the biggest difference is in longevity of accuracy.
With a 6.03, as low as 80 rounds can start degrading accuracy due to barrel fouling
With a 6.13 or 6.23 it should take a lot longer for fouling to affect the shot, making it PERFECT for an M249....

Speaking of consistency, I'm trying out the HS5 Bore-lapping kit in the next few weeks. This should improve bore consistency and accuracy as well as giving the side effect of widening the bore.

I desperately wanted a 6.08 high quality barrel in stainless for my 249 but nobody ever made one and finding a GOOD stock brass barrel was very difficult. The orga is absolutely perfect for what I need it to do in the saw
