Review for the Socom Gear Custom Punisher 1911 gbb pistol.

In the box: the gun comes in a nice plastic pistol case with "socom gear: play like you mean it" written across the cover. It is padded with egg carton like foam and sits very nicely in its box with nothing rattling around when picked up. Included in the box is the pistol, one chrome single stack style mag, one chrome barrel bushing for replacement of the punisher compensator that comes pre installed on the gun, a socom gear sticker, and a very well written, yet basic, manual for the socom gear m1911 lineup.

Externals: 5 out of 5. the gun is is full metal and comes with some great engravings all over it including the "custom punisher. 45" on the drivers side of the slide, and "no mercy" on the passenger. All of the small bits including trigger, all three safeties, slide catch, outer barrel, and the punisher compensator are a very nice chrome and really stand out from the rest of the guns matte black finish. The gun comes with a very comfortable set of black grips that fit beautiful in the hand and provide very good grip. The slide racks back with a very satisfying clack and the magazine sounds almost perfect when slid home.

Internals: 4 out of 5. the gun features a black loading nozzle and standard copper inner barrel. The hop up is adjustable and is accessed by removing the slide from the frame. Do wish it came with a tightbore ( get with the times people)
